AAP Global Outreach Mentored Scholarship Program

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Orthopaedics (SOOr) is offering $1,500 cash awards to orthopaedic residents and pediatric orthopaedic fellows in the United States and Canada who are interested in providing musculoskeletal care to children in resource-poor regions of the world. The scholarship program facilitates mentored experiences for young surgeons in training so that early in their career they have a unique, quality training experience abroad under the direction and supervision of a senior pediatric orthopaedic surgeon.
