A Pilot Investigation into the Genetics of Mild Bone Fragility

Presentations & Publications:: Presentations: We will present our results to the 2019 POSNA meeting as well as the 2019 Canadian Orthopedic Association meeting.

Publications: We aim to publish our results to peer reviewed bone-focused journals (such as the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research).

Further Funding:

Further grants as a result of POSNA funding have not yet been obtained. We have applied to several, but the major criticism thus far has been the lack of pilot data.

We plan to use our new pilot data obtained in this study to fund a larger grant (e.g. Canadian Institute of Health Research), and have plans to finish Pilot study analysis this Fall with major grant submission planned for Spring, 2019.
