Who should take this course?
Arthroscopic and open hip preservation surgeons familiar with concepts and techniques of treating classic acetabular dysplasia and cam impingement. In addition, surgeons that may not treat these conditions themselves, but are interested in making the correct diagnosis.

At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

• Practice open or arthroscopic hip preservation techniques in a cadaveric setting
• Define controversies regarding arthroscopic and open procedures for borderline hip conditions
• Review the variations in acetabular-sided morphologies and implications for surgical management approaches
• Compare and contrast the variations in femoral-sided morphologies and implications for surgical management approaches
• Identify various patterns of extra-articular hip impingement and appropriate surgical management options
