Description: This webinar is designed for residents interested in applying to fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics, chief residents accepted to peds ortho fellowship preparing for a successful fellowship year, and current peds ortho fellows navigating the job search and preparing for starting a career as a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon. We will go over best practices for success and cover common stress points in the process that many in these stages of training face.
Learning Objectives:
- Residents interested in a career in pediatric orthopaedic surgery will understand how to prepare a strong and pertinent application for pediatric orthopaedic fellowship and gain insight into how to choose fellowship programs to apply to.
- Residents will learn how to adeptly navigate the interview process and successfully prepare a rank list.
- Residents and fellows will discover strategies for maximizing their success and learning during their year of fellowship training, including how to successfully search for their job and become lifelong learners.
