Mohamed Reda El Lakkany, MD
1950 - 2020
It is with sadness and ultimate sorrow that the Egyptian Pediatric Orthopedic Society (EGPOS) reports the passing of Mohamed Reda El Lakkany, MD (1950-2020).
Dr. El Lakkany was one of the founders of EGPOS and served many times on its board. He was professor and chief of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Unit at Mansoura University Hospital in Mansoura, and worked hard in teaching Pediatric Orthopedics in Mansoura and the rest of Egypt.
Dr. El Lakkany was a corresponding member of POSNA for more than twenty years, and he left our lives on March 4th, 2020 after a very brief illness. He is survived by his college loving wife Magda, and two daughters Reham and Nermin.
May his soul Rest In Peace.
