The Pediatric Orthopedic Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery is seeking a Board certified or Board eligible fellowship-trained Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our academic practice with nine other full-time pediatric orthopedic surgeons.

Additional Information: We are interested in individuals trained to take care of general pediatric orthopedic conditions, with a sub-specialty interest in one of the following areas, pediatric orthopedic trauma, skeletal dysplasia, or pediatric sports medicine.  Other areas of sub-specialty interest are welcome and encouraged. This individual will be joining an established academic practice. Our program is experiencing significant growth at the main campus and our service commitments include coverage of the Hospital for Special Surgery and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The group is increasing our presence in our regional markets throughout the tri-state area as well.   

Potential candidates must be qualified to be appointed at the level of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor and should be Board Certified or eligible to apply to the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Academic appointments at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University is included with this position. 

This position offers a great opportunity for a surgeon to join an existing academic practice and to develop subspecialty interests within pediatric orthopedic surgery.  We are looking for active, enthusiastic clinicians who have an interest in clinical research and teaching.
