Job Summary:
The Westchester Medical Center Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon to join our academic practice. The successful applicant will be based at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, NY with an outpatient facility located immediately adjacent to the inpatient hospital. The hospital, including pediatric operating specific rooms and outpatient offices are located on a beautiful campus, 25 minutes north of New York City. The hospital serves as an American College of Surgeons accredited Level I trauma center.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Applicants must possess skills in general pediatric orthopaedics with subspecialty interest desired. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one to three years’ experience and outstanding clinical, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The candidate will be joining a highly respected service supporting orthopaedic residency and fellowship training programs. The candidate should be board certified or board eligible by the ABOS and be eligible for an academic appointment at New York Medical College. This is an employed position within the Westchester Health Network Advanced Physicians multispecialty group practice. Employed physicians receive comprehensive benefits and malpractice coverage.
