Additional Information:	There are two other pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeons in the San Diego group, and we have approximately 38 Orthopaedic Surgeons in the department. The plan is for this position to be 100% pediatric orthopedics, outside of call obligations. An appropriate candidate should be aware they may see adult patients while they ramp up their pediatric practice. Clinical time is 2.5 – 3.5 days/week, while surgical time is 1-2 days/week. The candidate will need to fulfill our department’s general call obligations by either taking general Orthopaedic call (adult and pediatric care) or by joining the trauma team (adult and pediatric urgent surgical care). Please note that responsibilities are subject to change to meet the operational needs of the department and medical center.
