Additional Information:	The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) are actively seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Assistant Professor. The Jackie and Gene Autry Orthopedic Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a pediatric spinal deformity surgeon to join 13 other full-time faculty members. A fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery is required. Though the successful candidate will primarily oversee the orthopedic care of children and adolescents with spine conditions, responsibilities will include management of children and adolescents with traumatic injuries and other conditions.  This position includes a faculty appointment in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.  The successful candidate is expected to participate in clinical research and the teaching of medical students, residents, and pediatric orthopaedic fellows.  A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered. Applicants must have completed an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program, a pediatric orthopaedic fellowship, and must be board-certified or board-eligible.  A valid California medical license and a California fluoroscopy license are required before starting work.  The primary practice location is at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), though travel to local satellite locations is expected.  CHLA is the largest and most comprehensive pediatric hospital in the Los Angeles area and is the only freestanding pediatric hospital in Los Angeles with a Level I pediatric trauma center.  The Jackie and Gene Autry Orthopedic Center also features the renowned John C.
