The University of Michigan Department of Orthopaedic Surgery's Section of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery is looking to add a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor to our team. We seek a surgeon with experience in pediatric sports and general pediatric orthopaedic surgery.

Pediatric Focus: Sports ( > 75% Pediatrics)
Training Requirements: Candidates should have a M.D., and be board certified or eligible for certification in orthopaedic surgery. They should have completed an ACGME- or POSNA-accredited pediatric orthopaedic surgery fellowship training in sports and pediatric orthopaedics. Candidates should hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. They should demonstrate outstanding teaching and clinical care abilities, and have associated research interests.

Additional Information: The University of Michigan Department of Orthopaedic Surgery's Section of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery is looking to add a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor to our team. We seek a surgeon with experience in pediatric sports and general pediatric orthopaedic surgery. Besides patient care, specific duties also include teaching medical students, house officers and fellows, and conducting/participating in clinical research. The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in sports and pediatric orthopaedic surgery, with an interest in resident and fellow education, as well as clinical research and scholarly activity . This position will be split between C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at University of Michigan and one of our partner institutions, Trinity Health Oakland.

It is desirable for candidates to have experience and skill caring for patients from diverse backgrounds and working with/mentoring diverse populations in academic training. If interested send CV and Cover letter to:
