New IPOS® Director Announced

Congratulations to Wudbhav (Woody) N. Sankar, MD.

Congratulations to Wudbhav (Woody) N. Sankar, MD, who has been selected as the new IPOS® Course Director. POSNA put out a call for a director last fall. The criteria included being an Active member in good standing with 3+ years of prior experience as an IPOS® faculty member and a history of leadership roles within POSNA. Thank you to all those who took the time to apply.

Dr. Sankar commented, “The cornerstones of IPOS® are hands-on, personal, and innovative education delivered by experienced and enthusiastic faculty. Its success has been built by a line of incredible and committed directors—Price, Flynn, Vitale, Bae, Milbrandt, Shah, and now Derek Kelly—and the faculty they have worked with over the years. I look forward to standing on the shoulders of these giants and continuing the tradition of educational innovation that is IPOS®."
