POSNA is excited to announce that applications are now open for the Mentorship Program and the *New Leadership Program.

Leadership Program: Application Deadline: February 1, 2023
The POSNA Leadership Program is a year-long seminar for 5-8 high-level emerging leaders. The curriculum will involve 12 monthly sessions (9 by Zoom and 3 in-person sessions at both the 2023 and 2024 POSNA Annual Meetings and 2023 IPOS® meeting) with pre-work and in-session dialogue with faculty on (1) Anatomy of leadership; (2) Managing people and team building; (3) Leadership during crisis; (4) Diversity, equity, inclusion, management of later in life surgeons; (5) Work-life balance; (6) Open forum; (7) POSNA and organizational structure, growth, and renewal; (8) Innovation, industry collaboration, and conflict of interests; (9) Medicolegal, medical error, and human resources; (10) Financial management and economic models; (11) Program development, including recruitment and retention of talent, funding; (12) Mentorship, humility, and empathy in leadership.

- Designed to provide a comprehensive and collaborative training experience for a group of 5-8 mid-career POSNA members seeking to enhance their knowledge base and skillset in the realms of leadership and emotional intelligence
