JPOSNA® Celebrates Milestone

Now Indexed in PubMed Central

We are thrilled to announce that the Journal of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (JPOSNA®) has been accepted for inclusion in PubMed Central (PMC). Indexing will begin with all issues published after January 2023.

Indexing in PMC is a major accomplishment and speaks to the editorial quality and integrity of JPOSNA®. The scientific and editorial quality evaluation, conducted by the National Library of Medicine, is a rigorous, multi-step process in which many factors are assessed, including journal scope, and scientific, editorial, and technical quality.  PMC is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine.

JPOSNA® is also indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and the journal is a member of the Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE), following the best ethical practice and committed to promoting integrity in pediatric orthopaedic publishing.

We are thankful to all who have contributed to the success of POSNA’s journal over the past 5-1/2 years. This has been a collaborative effort among authors, who submitted their quality work; the editorial team; our dedicated peer reviewers; and our publishing partner, Elsevier.
