Additional Information: The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, is seeking two BC/BE pediatric orthopaedic surgeons with advanced pediatric orthopaedic fellowship training to provide pediatric orthopaedic care in the Chicagoland area in collaboration with Lurie Children’s Hospital Partnerships and satellite practice locations.  The ideal candidate for the general surgeon position will have special training/interest in pediatric orthopaedic care. The ideal candidate for the spine surgeon position will have special training/interest in pediatric orthopaedic care with a focus in spine surgery. Anticipated effort will include time at the main campus of Lurie Children’s Hospital and ambulatory satellite locations. The position is primarily responsible for clinical care of pediatric orthopaedic patients with opportunities for education and clinical research.  Ranked U.S. News and World Report, Lurie Children’s provides state-of-the-art care to its patients and families. The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine also provides state-of-the-art musculoskeletal care for children with orthopaedic trauma and fractures; scoliosis and spinal abnormalities; sports injuries and concussions; cerebral palsy and neuromuscular disorders; brachial plexus injuries; congenital anomalies and developmental deformities; pediatric and adolescent hip disorders; foot and ankle conditions or injuries; and gait abnormalities. This is a full-time clinical and non-tenure eligible position with salary commensurate with candidate experience.
