POSNA Fall Micro Grants and Research Grants

Now accepting submissions

Micro Grants:

  • The objective of the Micro Grant Program is to advance musculoskeletal care for children and adolescents through education; research; quality, safety and value initiatives; advocacy; and global outreach to children in underserved areas.
  • Grants are for $1,000 or less, are (with some exceptions) a one-time award, and are awarded twice a year using OREF selection criteria by the Micro Grants Committee. Grant period: November 1, 2022 through October 31, 2023.
  • Applicants are encouraged to keep submissions brief and succinct. All dues paying POSNA members in good standing are eligible to apply. Each project is required to have at least one POSNA member as the Principal Investigator or the Co-PI.

Research Grants:

  • In order to broaden the field of applicants and be respectful of investigators’ time and efforts, POSNA is using a “Letter of Intent” (LOI) format. Promising projects will be selected for submission of a full application. Research grants and QSVI grants will be submitted through the same mechanism, although the LOI only applies to Research grants.
