It is with sadness and sorrow that the Egyptian Paediatric Society (EGPOS) reports the passing of their friend and colleague, Yehia N. Tarraf, MD. Dr. Tarraf was one of the leaders in pediatric surgery in Egypt. He was professor of pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Cairo University, former head of the pediatric orthopaedic unit of Cairo University, and co-founder and former vice president of EGPOS. Dr. Tarraf was a POSNA member for 25 years and a member of EPOS.
